Operating Procedure

  • The XVS-10Mi uses specialized access control hardware and software to digitally “reference” each individual that enters the metal detector. This unique metal free “reference” is then used to determine the pass/fail qualifications of each person.
  • Each employee must swipe a card or enter an access code before entering the detector.
  • After the employee enters the detector, the software will compare the actual metal detector reading against the pre-programmed “reference” value, and pass or fail the employee accordingly. A failure elicits a visible and audible alarm.
  • All entry/exit and pass/fail data are stored for simple and comprehensive analysis with the built-in reporting software. Overall pass/fail data and individual data can be analyzed quickly and efficiently by just double clicking on the name of any employee. Further reports are all available with the simple click of a mouse.
